Todd
Miller
After graduation from the University of Florida, Mr. Miller
attended Stetson University College of Law. While a
student, he was a member of Stetson's nationally ranked
trial team, winning both State and National Championships.
He was a recipient of the Victor O. Wehle Award, which
recognizes the outstanding student in Trial Practice.
After
graduation, Mr. Miller accepted a position with the Pinellas
County State Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted to
verdict more than 35 jury trials including first degree
murder, armed robbery, and sexual battery. Mr. Miller
specialized in crimes against children and DUI manslaughter.
Since leaving the State
Attorney’s Office, Mr. Miller has focused his practice in
the areas of insurance defense including first and third
party insurance disputes, professional liability, automobile
negligence, and general casualty. He has successfully
defended numerous cases at the trial court level. Mr.
Miller is licensed to practice in all Florida State Courts
as well as the United States District Court for the Middle
District of Florida.
He is a member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association,
Defense Research Institute, Manatee County Bar Association
and the St. Petersburg Bar Association. He currently serves
on the Board of Directors for the Pinellas County Chapter of
the American Cancer Society. Mr. Miller is resident in the
firm’s Bradenton office.
